REQUEST
Rebuild the existing Windows application into a web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform tailored for legal firms, ensuring scalability, usability, and modernization.
CHAllENGE
The main challenges included outdated desktop application capabilities hindering user growth and limiting updates.
OUR SOLUTION
We transformed the app from desktop to web and mobile, enhancing user reach, design, and sustainability with tools like ReactNative and Docker while ensuring seamless customer migration.

The first step in modernizing CSI Helsinki's application was to transfer the desktop-only application to the web and mobile platforms. This greatly improved accessibility, as users can now manage their legal activities anywhere, anytime, using any device. It ensured that legal professionals were productive and responsive, location notwithstanding

The application was redesigned using contemporary design practices to enhance the user experience. Its modern and intuitive user interface reduced any learning curve to a near minimum; hence, the software was easy to navigate and thus convenient to use. This boosted user satisfaction and efficiency by ensuring that legal professionals get the needed tools quickly and easily.

The application was rewritten using the most modern and reliable technological frameworks: ReactNative, Kubernetes (k8s), Microsoft SQL, Docker, and Azure DevOps. These technologies made the application robust, scalable, and easy to maintain. A thing that increased with this ability was the possibility of adapting to new technological advances in the frameworks.

The most critical aspect was embedding the new solution into the present system. This minimized disruption for the existing user base; therefore, it was very significant for this group of users to have a seamless transition to the new application without loss of key functionalities since it preserved continuity and saved long-standing customers from losing trust and satisfaction.
