Request
An Australian financial services company approached us to build a feature-rich mobile investment app from scratch. The platform had to allow parents to open separate accounts for their children, make recurring contributions, and invest those funds in selected companies. Profits had to accrue directly to each child’s account.
Challenge
Our team had to deliver a functional investment MVP in just three weeks. It had to include core investment flows and secure data exchange with backend servers. At the same time, the client introduced a partial redesign mid-development, which required updating layouts and adjusting business logic without slowing down the release timeline.
Our solutions
We assembled a focused team and delivered an MVP in three weeks that allowed parents to create child accounts, set up recurring investments, track stock history, and securely sync data with backend systems. Weekly sprint cycles with Friday test releases helped us integrate a mid-project UI redesign and adjust business logic without delaying delivery. Over the next six months, our team refined investment flows, auto-pay functionality, and user experience to prepare the app for long-term use.

Users can view historical stock performance directly inside the app. This feature helps parents understand how investments evolve over time and make informed contribution decisions. Our design expert implemented structured data visualization and clear chart logic, so complex market data remains readable for non-professional investors.
Parents can set up recurring investments for consistent contributions to their child’s account without manual transfers. On the technical side, our development team built secure scheduling logic and backend synchronization to guarantee predictable payment execution and accurate portfolio updates.

The app integrates Intercom, so users can contact support directly from the interface without switching platforms. From an operational standpoint, this reduces friction during onboarding or investment setup and gives the client real-time insight into user issues and product feedback.

The platform includes structured investment guidance to help parents understand how funds are allocated and what risks are involved. We designed this feature to balance regulatory clarity and usability because financial information should support informed decisions, not overwhelm first-time investors.
